Daylight Saving Time, for the U.S. and its territories, is not observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation). These areas do not need an extra hour of sunlight.
